Purcell Capital was formed in 2021 to address one of the biggest obstacles facing small and medium-sized companies – finding the necessary capital to grow and maintain their business.

With a majority of banks cutting back on lending and imposing tougher requirements, running a business has become unnecessarily more difficult. Then Covid became a part of our lives and businesses started adjusting quickly. For some not fast enough and after the PPP loans were disbursed to mostly large businesses so many small to medium sized business got left behind.

Purcell Capital’s founder, Sylvia Purcell, set out to solve this problem by identifying the multiple traditional and alternative funding programs available to businesses and implementing a system that quickly and easily matches borrowers to their optimal working capital options.

Before launching Purcell Capital, Sylvia Purcell worked as a broker from 2005 to 2009 and then worked with Wells Fargo and Chase until 2018 as a trusted lender. She knows how the banks work and she understand their underwriting processes she knows how to get loans funded. She graduated from Boise State University with a degree in science and child development. She is on the Special Education Advisory Board and takes special interest in advocating for parents and children in the public-school systems.
